Es war einmal… Moving Shadow

In gut zwei Wochen, am 10.09.2011, ist es soweit: Im Rahmen von 20 Jahre Conne Island kommt Dom & Roland zu Besuch nach Leipzig, freundlich unterstützt von Booga sowie Malcolm & Snoopy. Legendär, so sagt man!

Kommenden Samstag gibt’s Produktionen von Dom & Roland sehr wahrscheinlich schon bei Radio Blau zu hören: Lowcut bestreitet die DJ-Nacht und wird daraus mit Freu(n)den eine Moving Shadow Spezialsendung machen. Das Label hat vor 20 Jahren begonnen, seine schwarzen Scheiben unter die Leute zu bringen. Wie ausführlich der Labelkatalog innerhalb von 3 Stunden behandelt werden kann, bleibt abzuwarten. Einschalten!

Stefan Betke a.k.a. Pole will play a live set on Saturday at Audio Invasion, Gewandhaus Leipzig. I will not be there as the circumstances are far from perfect. And apart from that, I already agreed to ~~help elsewhere~~.

Update: I will not help anywhere as the Wagenplatz-dudes decided to blow off the event about 36h before it should start. After months of preparation by the Radio Blau crew, by the way. Sick one.

dj night @ radio blau

tonight i’m doing saturday’s dj night alongside kid kozmoe. on air from 9pm till midnight on radio blau, the concept is nothing less than proving onetake wrong, who lately stated that there are no “inbetween” djs in town. right now i’m pretty nervous about that, as it might shape up as really ambitious (within that 90 minutes) to cover a wide variety of styles without losing the plot.

After four years of broadcasting the BREAK THE SURFACE Radio Show (formerly Radio 3tes Ohr), Metasound decided to stop the project “to get more time for other things like making music and pushing the label”. For the last show, Metasound invited some of his best (DJ) friends to celebrate a 3 hour final session full of good music live in the mix!
