Es war einmal… Moving Shadow
In gut zwei Wochen, am 10.09.2011, ist es soweit: Im Rahmen von 20 Jahre Conne Island kommt Dom & Roland zu Besuch nach Leipzig, freundlich unterstützt von Booga sowie Malcolm & Snoopy. Legendär, so sagt man!
Kommenden Samstag gibt’s Produktionen von Dom & Roland sehr wahrscheinlich schon bei Radio Blau zu hören: Lowcut bestreitet die DJ-Nacht und wird daraus mit Freu(n)den eine Moving Shadow Spezialsendung machen. Das Label hat vor 20 Jahren begonnen, seine schwarzen Scheiben unter die Leute zu bringen. Wie ausführlich der Labelkatalog innerhalb von 3 Stunden behandelt werden kann, bleibt abzuwarten. Einschalten!

to my surprise, critical recordings is label of the month at resident advisor. critical is one of my favourite d&b labels when it comes to sound quality and conceptual artwork. sometimes, i even like the music. however, resident advisor introduces the label and provides a label showcase mix:

ease up^ explained.
ease up^ is an upcoming drum&bass event series, taking place at the conne island, leipzig. the first party will be launched on april 21st, introducing morphy as headliner. he will be accompanied by lowcut and histeppa, the former eventually entitled ‘the morphy of leipzig’. further events are not scheduled yet, as they surely cannot be arranged before the summer break.
